The language Uganda requires
Uganda handles official papers in English, which changes the shape of this job entirely. Most corridors turn a whole file into another language. Here the target language is the one your papers are already likely to be in, so the question is not what to translate but which parts still need it.
Papers that are only partly English
Very few real files are cleanly one language or the other. An English certificate picks up a foreign seal when it passes through another country. A bilingual form has one column nobody here can read. A degree in English arrives with an annex, a grading note or a marginal endorsement written elsewhere.
Those fragments are what a certified translation into English in Liverpool is really for on this route. They are small in word count and large in weight, because an endorsement can qualify the very thing the main sheet says. Leaving them unread means handing a clerk a page whose last word is a mystery.
Stamps deserve particular attention. People treat a seal as decoration and a sentence as content, when a receiving desk reads them the other way round. The English version sets out what the stamp says and where it sits, so the two sheets can be laid side by side and matched mark for mark.
Which sheets actually need work
Go through the bundle once and sort it into two piles: already English, and not. Only the second pile is written out and only the second pile is counted for the bill. The first travels with it untouched, which is why sending the whole set as one scan costs nothing and keeps the order intact.
Certification Uganda accepts
Behind the English stands a certified translator, who signs a certificate of accuracy. That short page names them, gives their standing and confirms the two texts agree. It is the signature a reader looks for, and it covers the fragments exactly as it would cover a full-length document.
The rate is about £25 for each page needing work. An official English translation in Liverpool takes 2–3 business days as standard, or 24 hours where a date will not move. Because the count follows the foreign sheets alone, a certified translation for Uganda is often the cheapest job in a whole application.
Acceptance in Uganda
Nothing you hold has to move, since the work runs from an image. Where a birth, marriage or death registered in this city is part of the bundle, Liverpool Register Office issues fresh certified copies from St George's Hall, St George's Place, Liverpool L1 1JJ, so the sheet you own can stay on the shelf.
