Nepali on the page

Nepal keeps its written record in Nepali, so an English certificate from Reading is read once a Nepali version sits beside it. Devanagari script and the English alphabet share nothing visually, which makes layout matter: the text is built sheet for sheet so that each line answers the line opposite it.

Certification and what it proves

An ITI or CIOL qualified certified translator does the work and signs a certificate of accuracy naming both languages, their own qualification and the date. This is the certification UK bodies such as UKVI and the General Register Office accept, and it is the page a receiving reader turns to first. It is fixed to the bundle, never sent separately.

Cost, timing and the usual papers

The rate is about £25 a page of the source, with standard delivery in 2-3 business days and express delivery within 24 hours. Student files, employment records, birth and marriage entries and police checks make up most of the traffic. A certified translation for Nepal is prepared the same way for each of them.
