Spanish on a Guatemalan file
A record issued in Reading arrives in Guatemala in English, and it is read once a Spanish version sits beside it. The Spanish is built sheet for sheet, keeping headings, dates and reference numbers where they already are. Nothing is condensed, because a summary is not a translation and a reader can tell the difference at a glance.
The translator's certificate
The accepted form is a certified translation with the translator's certificate of accuracy. The credential behind it is a certified translator holding ATA or equivalent standing. The certificate itself is a short signed page: source language, target language, translator, date. It travels fixed to the bundle, because a certificate on its own covers nothing.
What you pay, and when it lands
The rate is about £25 for each page of the source. Because pricing follows sheets, you can total the job yourself before ordering. Standard work is finished in 2-3 business days and express work within 24 hours. The certificate is the same in both cases; only your place in the queue changes.
Documents in a family file
A family file usually runs to several records at once: a birth entry, a marriage entry, a police check and sometimes a court order. Sending them as one job keeps the wording consistent across all of them, which matters more than it sounds. One certificate then covers the set, and the sheets stay in issue order.
