What Panama expects to receive
Panamanian notaries, registries and banks work in Spanish. An English instrument gives them nothing to act on by itself. So a file crosses in two parts: the English source, or a fresh copy of it, and a Spanish text that carries every clause, schedule and signature block across in full and in the same order.
Spanish, and why numbering must not drift
A certified translation into Spanish in Wolverhampton keeps clause and schedule numbering identical to the English. A notary reads the two side by side and points at a clause by number, so a renumbered Spanish version breaks that immediately. Amounts keep the currency they were written in, and dates are set out in full so a day and a month can never swap.
The certificate a notary looks for
What Panama accepts is a certified translation with translator's certificate of accuracy. The certificate names the translator and their ATA or equivalent standing, gives the date, lists the pages and states that nothing was added or removed. It stays attached to the Spanish text permanently, because a file split from its certificate cannot be relied on by anyone downstream.
Per-page cost and delivery
A certified translation for Panama runs at about £25 / page of source, delivered in 2–3 business days or in 24 hours on the express route. Corporate files reward a single order: one certificate covering the whole instrument is far easier for a bank to accept than four certificates covering four fragments sent in different weeks.
Personal records, and what gets checked in Panama City
Where a personal record joins a corporate file, Wolverhampton Register Office at Civic Centre, St Peter's Square, Wolverhampton WV1 1RU issues fresh certified copies of birth, marriage and death records. Sending a new copy keeps the one you already hold safely at home. The office issues records; translating them is no part of what it does.
In Panama City a reviewer reads the certificate, counts the pages against it and then checks names against a passport. An official Spanish translation in Wolverhampton is held up mainly by an incomplete set, so a missing schedule or an unsigned page stops the file long before anyone debates a turn of phrase.
