Clause numbers land where they started
A company's constitution is a referenced object. Loan papers, board minutes and shareholder agreements all point into it by number, so an official translation of a Memorandum & Articles of Association in Manchester has to preserve that map exactly. Article 7 stays article 7 and clause 12.3 stays clause 12.3, even where the new language needs twice the words to say the same thing.
Who signs it, and what the statement covers
The work is done by an ITI/CIOL-qualified certified translator, who signs a statement of accuracy naming your source and its page count. A certified translation of a Memorandum & Articles of Association in United Kingdom practice rests on that signature. Send the whole version you intend to rely on, since a statement covering thirty pages says nothing about a thirty-first left at home.
A long document, priced by the page
Pricing runs at ~£25 / page, so this is one of the longer jobs a small company will order. Standard turnaround is 2–3 business days and express is 24 hours, and those figures apply to the document as a whole. Counting the sheets before you order, schedules included, turns a vague worry about cost into a figure you can approve.
Where the translated set gets used
Opening a bank account abroad, registering a branch, bidding for public work, buying property in a company name and answering due diligence in a sale all call for this document. Each of those readers wants to see who may sign, what the company may do and how shares are held. They find those answers by clause, which is why the numbering carries the weight.
What survives the crossing
Defined terms are fixed once and used the same way throughout, headings keep their level, and lists keep their lettering. Manchester Register Office at Heron House, 47 Lloyd Street, Manchester M2 5LE issues certified copies of birth, marriage and death entries, which is a different kind of record altogether; a company constitution comes from the company's own file, so the version you supply is the version translated.
