An empty field is information
Tigrinya is the language required for documents used in Eritrea, and the translation covers everything printed on the sheet, including the parts nobody filled in. A blank beside a printed label tells a reader that the question was posed and produced no entry. That is a fact about the record, and losing it in translation quietly changes what the document says.
Labels and boxes come first
Forms are read by position rather than by sentence. Someone reviewing your paper looks for the third field on the left, not for the third clause of a paragraph. So the printed labels are translated and kept in their order, boxes stay boxes, and an entry that is missing is shown as missing in the place where it would otherwise sit.
Do not fill the gaps yourself
Handwriting added after issue is the most awkward thing a translator can be handed, because it cannot be distinguished from the document itself once it is scanned. Where the paper is a civil record, Manchester Register Office at Heron House, 47 Lloyd Street, Manchester M2 5LE issues fresh certified copies, which is the clean way to replace a sheet you have marked up or one that came out wrong.
Counting and timing
Pricing follows sheets at £25 each, whether a sheet is crowded or nearly bare, so the quote is fixed once the pages are counted. Standard turnaround is 2–3 business days from a legible scan and the express route delivers in 24 hours. Knowing the count in advance means the total does not shift once the work is under way.
